Tips, like the Intel Xeon e3 1290 v2 quad-core processor, clock in at 3.7 gigahertz. With Intel's turbo boost enabled, this chip can clock in at 4.1 gigahertz. Both forms of the Z 220 support boast DDR3 ECC and non-ECC unbuffered DIMMs for up to 1600 megahertz TV 2 channels. With 2 DIMMs per channel supported, speed is dependent on configuration. For storage options, the Z 220 CM TS3 has internal three and a half-inch drive bays and three external five and a quarter-inch bays. Note that the third external five and a quarter-inch bay is not full depth. The maximum depth is 6.7 inches.
