Instructions and Help about Will Form 2220 Debit

Welcome back! As thanks for joining us today, we're going to show you how to enable tips on your Ingenico iwl 220 payment terminals. These tips will come in handy if you're working in the restaurant industry or another service-based industry where tips and gratitudes are a regular thing. You'll want them prompted on every sale. So, let's get started. First, press the pound sign to open up the main menu. Then, navigate to option three for the setup menu, option four for terminal options, and option five for tip options. Next, select option one for tip, and then select option three for retail tip. After that, go back to the home screen by pressing the red button multiple times. Now, let's see how this works in action. Go into the sale menu and process a quick five-dollar transaction. Pass the terminal to the customer so they can enter their card and PIN information. Once the terminal confirms, you'll see the price of the transaction and it will bring you to the tip screen. On the tip screen, there are two additional settings: tip percentage or tip amount. The choice is up to the customer. For today, let's go with a tip percentage of 20% because we're feeling generous. They will then be presented with a confirmation screen to confirm or change the transaction. Accept it, and they will enter their PIN. Once the transaction gets approved, simply pull the card out and you'll be back to the printing process. Make sure to take the merchant copy first, followed by the customer copy. Print theirs as well. And that's it! That's how you enable tips on your Ingenico iwl 220 payment terminal.
